Becoming Qualified

Becoming qualified is as easy as going to your local Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Branch Office and requesting to take the test. You can request study guides (downloaded from the website or via your local DMV Branch Office) before taking the examination to increase your chance of success. A $50 application fee is required.

Once you’ve passed the test, you will be given a receipt. This receipt is not a license to sell motor vehicles. It does, however, qualify you to pursue your license.
